New floors

One of our first projects when we moved in was to lay new floors in the main living area. I LOVE our new floor! Here's how it went down.

This is the end product. (So you don't have to scroll all the way to the bottom to end the suspense!)

Step 1: Tear up the carpet.

I took this picture while we were taking it up. The whole area was covered in this carpet to start with.

Step 2: Lay the underlayment.

Step 3: Start laying the new floor. One board at a time!

Our first major hurdle: make it around this little wall.
