Summer is in full swing around here. We've been doing lots of summer things since we've been back from Colorado: Camping, swimming, jetskiing, vacation Bible schooling, and lots of playing outside. Here are a few sure signs of summer in Cheney . . .
Both kids got multiple bee stings when they accidentally came apon a bee hive tucked away under the slide on their play house.
You are looking at all but one of the kids in our neighborhood. Yeah, not a lot of them, but they sure love playing together.
From left to right: Reese, Coleman, Kendal, Teagan.
Kiddie Pool.
It was a scorcher here last Sunday. Good thing for the blow-up pool with spouting orca and the beach umbrellas!
Waiting for the Icecream Man.
Coleman, armed with a $10 bill, waited patiently as he listened to the icecream man wind his way through the next neighborhood over (where all the kids live!)
Still Waiting.
Reese joined Coleman to wait for the icecream truck.
Why is it that icecream seems to taste so much better when it's delivered to your curb in a cute little freezer truck blaring "It's a Small World" for all the world to hear?
