We are loving our Alaskan summer! It is cold, so it's hard to call it summer, but it's nice and light! We have gotten to do lots of things since we've been here!
There are lots of kids on this project (10!). They are loving living it!
This is in Whittier, on the Prince William Sound. We drove our camo bus through a 2.5 mile long single lane tunnel.
Coleman went to VBS at the church we are going to here. The last night was a carnival. They sure know how to do things in AK! There was a climbing wall, mechanical fish (a mechanical bull ride, but in the shape of a fish--I'll post video of that later!) and sumo wrestling!
Reese has been drity the entire time we've been here. Half hour after bath time, this is what she looked like....
The staff women went to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center in Girdwood. It was really fun! It's not every day you can get this close to baby moose!
Reese picking dandilions.
Coleman went fishing in a creek on campus. This bridge is right behind our apartment building.
Caught a trout. Actually, he caught 6.
Jason has taken 2 suicide runs to the Russian River and 1 to the Kenai. Unfortunately, the rivers are all running very high right now, so fishing has been mostly unsuccessful. Here's a red that is in our freezer right now!
